SCORCH Guide
What Is a Token Burn Campaign?
A token burn campaign is a structured crypto campaign built around permanently removing a defined amount of a token from circulation. The burn is the on-chain result, while the campaign gives people a reason to notice, follow and participate in the event.
A token burn and a token burn campaign are not the same
A simple token burn is an isolated token action. Tokens are removed using a method that should be publicly verifiable on the relevant blockchain. The burn may reduce supply, but it does not automatically create a campaign, community activity or useful marketing material.
A token burn campaign adds structure around that action. It defines why the event exists, what the target is, how people can participate, when it begins and ends, how progress is communicated and how the final burn is verified.
What a properly structured campaign needs
A clear objective. The project should explain whether the campaign supports supply reduction, a launch, a feature release, a milestone, community growth or renewed activity.
Defined rules. Participants should know the token involved, dates, target, participation method, burn process and any reward conditions before taking part.
Visible progress. Updates should show meaningful campaign activity instead of repeating the same promotional claim.
A verifiable result. The final burn and campaign outcome should be published clearly, including relevant on-chain references where available.
A follow-up plan. The project needs a next step after the campaign so attention does not disappear when the burn is complete.
What projects can use burn campaigns for
Token burn campaigns can be used as part of several wider project strategies. They can support community growth, reactivate an inactive audience, create a measurable event around a token launch, promote a feature release, mark a project milestone or give an exposure campaign a permanent on-chain result.
The campaign must still fit the project. A burn attached to an unrelated message will not fix weak positioning or create lasting interest. The strongest use is when the burn reinforces something the community already understands and cares about.
What a burn campaign cannot guarantee
A token burn campaign cannot guarantee price growth, new buyers, stronger liquidity, community expansion or long-term attention. Those outcomes still depend on market demand, token design, project credibility, communication, execution and broader market conditions.
The campaign creates a structured opportunity. It gives the project a defined event, a measurable target, content to communicate and a result people can verify. Whether that opportunity produces wider growth depends on how well the project uses it.
SCORCH presale burns and post-presale campaigns are separate
During the SCORCH presale, users can acquire SCORCH with SHIB, ETH or USDC on Ethereum. Only SHIB contributions enter the SHIB pool. The burn does not happen after every purchase. When the pool reaches 1 billion SHIB, 95% is burned and 5% is retained.
After the presale, SCORCH plans to host token burn campaigns in which the token selected for burning depends on the event. These campaigns are the wider platform model and are not the same as the presale SHIB threshold mechanism.

How SCORCH fits
SCORCH is building a token burn campaign platform to help crypto projects turn supply reduction into a structured marketing and community event. Campaigns can be used around launches, feature releases, project milestones, exposure and community activity while producing a transparent burn result.
SCORCH provides the planned campaign framework. It does not guarantee market results or replace the project's token design, security, liquidity planning, promotion or execution.
